Welcome!
Find Great Food and Fun at Glenwood Springs Downtown Market
Glenwood's Downtown Market features farmers, ranchers, local chefs, food vendors, arts, crafts, special events, and is an all-around good excuse to get out and have fun with your neighbors.
At the Market, you will find Olathe sweet corn, Palisade peaches, raspberries, apples, green chili, apricots, tomatoes, green beans, organic produce, fresh flowers, fresh-baked bread and pastries, handmade jewelry, unique clothing, artwork, local musicians, and more!
The market is located on 9th Street between Grand and Cooper avenues in the heart of downtown Glenwood Springs. It is highly visible to traffic traveling through downtown and easy walking distance from Glenwood's many excellent restaurants and shops. The 2012 market opens Tuesday, June 12th, a week earlier than previous, and continues every Tuesday evening through September 25th for a total of 16 weeks. It is open to the public from 4pm to dusk. Parking is available in the lot between the Springs Theatre and Bank of Colorado - right across the street!
We look forward to seeing you in 2012! Keep up to date with market events by subscribing to our newsletter which contains important announcements, special events, and late breaking news. Also watch for our weekly column in the Glenwood Post Independent beginning in June.
Special Note:
In 2012 the Market will be facing unique challenges. Construction
of a parking structure will be taking place immediately adjacent to
the market - behind the Forest Service building. We are
coordinating with the City, and the contractor to assure that the
market runs as smoothly as possible. The City has expressed the
importance of the market to the downtown and they are anxious to
have minimal impact on our activities. We will keep everyone informed
as to ongoing construction issues each week in our e-newsletter and
newspaper article.
