SMOKIN' JOE KELLY  JUNE 22

Joe was lead guitar for “Ike and Tina Turner” from 1974-1976. Recording and performance credits include Bill Withers (greatest hits album), Chaka Khan, Vickie Sue Robinson, Lauren Wood, Jesse martin (“Law and Order”, “Rent”), Cheryl Ladd, Vince Gill and Amy Grant to name a few.

“Mike and Claudio have been playing in the valley for a number of years as part of Misspent Youth. They recently decided to forego a full band to play an acoustic rock repertoire.”

ORAN MOR JULY 6

Oran Mor is a Scots-Gaelic term that refers to a “Great Melody” woven throughout Celtic mythology - a primordial song that echoes in the present for all who are listening. Musicians include Tom Cochran (guitar/vocals), Karen Mills-Cochran (guitar/vocals /recorders), Brendan Cochran (percussion/vocals), Jonathan Satz (bass/vocals), and Bobby Campbell (flute/sax/percussion/vocals).

Johnny brings his hot fingerpickin' slide guitar and down-home vocals to a variety of Rocky Mountain venues. He was the winner of the Mile High Blues Challenge and the Telluride Acoustic Blues Competition. 

KRAIG KENNING JULY 20 

Call him Contemporary folk, Acoustic blues, Roots rock, or American fingerstyle.  The fact is, Kraig has managed to merge a bit of all the above, while maintaining a close and personal connection with his audience.

This is a special pairing of Chris Bank, who is a legendary staple of the Colorado music scene is well known in the the Roaring Fork Valley. He is know for his creative, and smooth vocals and tasty sax work. Vid Weatherwax brought his Detroit/Chicago influenced music to Colorado in 2009 and is known for his songwriting prowess as well as his funky R&B keyboard work and his rough, soulful voice.

 

SUZZANNE PARIS & JOHN MICHEL  AUGUST 3

Suzzanne Paris is a Grammy entered, award-winning singer songwriter and guitarist who has a sultry, soulful voice full of fire and air. She is currently in an acoustic rock trio with Michael Jude & John Michel ….musicians from the John Oates band (Hall & Oates)

More to come...Feeding Giants is an acoustic trio comprised of Kevin Ware on guitar and vocals, Aundrea Ware on vocals, and Max Tustin on Cajon. With a combination of smooth sweet harmonies and acoustic melodies, Feeding Giants covers an eclectic variety of genres from Outlaw and Classic Country, Americana, Classic Rock, Originals, and more! Creating a fun, intense, yet relaxing musical experience, that will delight the palate and satisfy the soul.

FRANK MARTIN DUO AUGUST 17
Frank is an extraordinary singer/songwriter , guitarist, and recording artist. His music may be rightly compared to the music/poetry of Bob Dylan, Gordan Lightfoot, Joni Mitchell and the like. He is a fierce outdoorsman and long time associate at Colorado Mountain College.

LAURIE DAMERON  AUGUST 24 

Billboard Magazine award recipient, Laurie Dameron, has been playing the guitar for over five decades. Between solo performances and performances with her band, Laurie D and the Blues Babes, she has performed for hundreds of venues in and out of Colorado over the past 20 years.

HAP& VID  AUGUST 31

Hap hails from the dynamic music scene of Chicago. He beautifully blends his blues roots with the regional mountain/country sound of the Rocky Mountains, and is often compared to Mark Knopfler and Jeff Beck. He will be joined by Vid Weatherwax.

 

LARRY & PATTI HERD  SEPTEMBER 7

LP Herd is a guitar duo consisting of Larry & Patty Herd. Hailing from the Austin music scene, where they both performed and recorded with several local popular bands. Their sound is defined by Patty's bluesy sultry voice and Larry's jazz/ blues inspired guitar style. Their song list includes Jazz standards to Rock, Blues & Country.

QUEEN BEES  SEPTEMBER 21

The Queen Bees is a collaboration of local favorite female artists, Joey Ball, Portia Rogers, and Aundrea Ware. From Americana, Country, Folk, and Bluegrass, this powerhouse trio weaves together new interpretations of classic covers with stunning harmony's, inspiring melodies, and the perfect feminine touch.
