Aspen 440

Aspen 440 band members are David Harding, Lisa Sarver and Amy Hawes. They are vocal-driven, a very mixed bag. They cover a lot of Little Big Town, as well as blues, classic rock 'n' roll, and anything else that knocks our socks off. (Just added two Sting/Police and two Tedeschi songs to our repertoire.) Longtime Aspen musicians H2 (David Harding and Amy Hawes) are joined by sultry and soulful songstress Lisa Sarver for a dynamite trio.

Defiance String Band

The band was formed back in 2007, along with a few others that spun off of a weekly old-time jam at Don and April’s house. Back then, Don Kaufman had just written a song that was a parody on the Dillard’s “Old Home Place” called “The Encana Bluegrass Blues.” The fledgling group drew national attention when the BBC videoed them performing it by Divide Creek, outside of Silt, CO. It was featured in a BBC documentary with an audience of over 75 million.
